Deleting Your Information From the Mercer Online DirectoryMercer's main website offers to the public an online directory. This directory lists the names of students and includes email addresses and school/division. Students may request that their names not be published in the online directory. To prevent the display of your directory information on the Mercer online directory, follow these steps:
1. Login to MyMercer.
2. On your MyMercer home page, locate the Student Privacy box.
3. Click the link for Online Directory Privacy.
4. Check the checkbox labeled Prevent the display of information in the Mercer Directory, then click Save.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This restriction applies only to the Mercer Online Directory. The University at its discretion and without the written consent of the student may release the following items: student name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date and place of birth, academic program, dates of attendance, degrees and honors received, most recent previous institution attended and participation in officially recognized activities and sports. To request non-disclosure of this information to all other third parties, contact the Office of the Registrar.
